Midnight. Two lone figures face each other at a distance under the full moon. Poised for what is to come.

A voice calls out…"Draw!"

The figures rush to scribble on paper and one shouts out "Done!"

A black-clad shadow approaches to examine the drawing. A wobbly circle with some squares and lines inside.

"This is the worst I have ever seen. Your shot is a miss."

As they finish the other figure approaches with their drawing. The circle is perfect, the lines crisp and nothing is out of place.

"This is the best freehand Bauhaus logo I have ever seen. You have won the duel. May Bela's belltower watch over you. The goth points are yours!"

I was laughing at this Tiktok that was talking about how goths destroyed the temple of Artemis and the comments were like “my bad” and there was one comment that was like “destroyed by people who listen to MCR” and my smile never dropped so fast 😭 like not the MCR 😭😭(no shade to them ofc, love those guys)

Hello! I noticed there’s some posts about POC goth music creators, but I didn’t see anything about content creators on social media, which would encompass a broader range of the goth subculture than solely music. I wanted to create a post where people can share and bring a specific spotlight to them, since they’re commonly told they don’t belong and don’t fit the “aesthetic”. I think following and engaging with POC goths on social media can encourage and support that part of the community.

My favorite one right now is _naagini on instagram and tik tok. She wears vampyric dark romantic fashion and occasionally with some hindu influence since she’s half Indian. She does some really cool edit art of herself and has some fun videos like matching her clothes to gothic album covers.

Another one is @willow..scarlet_ https://linktr.ee/Willow_scarlet on instagram. He’s a dark wave musician who also posts fashion and runs a small store goth and alt accessory store at the_desi_gothic_store
